After having several different pets over the past years, we decided to bring a cat into the family. While looking at our local shelters, we found a few different cats to take a closer look. We tried to focus on the ones that were a priority. The first (& only) cat was a 3yr old neutered white shorthaired cat named Popcorn.
He has only been w/ us for alittle over a week but he's been a great addition to the family. He's very laid back and tolerates our dog (who happens to be a black lab mix female). It seemed inevitable to adopt a white cat considering that our dog was black and the 2 guinea pigs we have one is all black & the other is all white. :)

Popcorn

He is absolutely beautiful!!! It's funny, I never thought of the name Popcorn for a white cat, but I just saw that name on a white cat at a local shelter in the Ft. Worth, TX area, and now yours, also a shelter cat. I'm so glad you adopted this beautiful animal from a shelter. My daughter works at a shelter, and the # of animals that can be put down in one day is just staggering! Popcorn is very lucky and looks like my Merlin when he was younger. Merlin is huge now. Very beautiful and reminds me of a white tiger without stripes. He has that big cat walk like a hunter. But the sweetest tiny little meow. I know you will enjoy your Popcorn as much as I do my Merlin. Thank you for sharing.
