Miss Sophie

I was bugging my husband for a cat, for 2 yrs. finally one day, we went to a local estate sale. there was nothing good to buy. I was bored... as we drove my husband said lets go get a cat. I was shocked!!!! really ??? your joking right??? I said. So, we went to the local spca to look. We looked around for a little while, then as we peeked into one of the cages, there was a little black an white kitten sleeping. My husband looked in and said What about that one???? and they took her out of the cage. She was so little and sweet. We agreed she's puuurrfect. We'll take her. We found out that she was dropped off the day before. She was found in a soccer field not to far away. It was like she was there waiting for us. We instantly fell in love with her, as my husband held her in his arms like a baby. She was less than 8 weeks old. We sign the adoption papers and gave a donation, she was fixed the next day and she was all ours.

My husband has 3 kids from a previous marriage 2 girls and a boy. I have 2 boys. With our Sophie girl. It makes us the Brady bunch. We are so happy,and my husband is still her favorite. She loves to watch birds and play with jingle balls on our stairs in the middle of the night, when she gets tired she comes to sleep with us. At 630 am she is there to wake us up for work and school. She just turned two this June, we just love her.
