Meet Shasta and Beatrice

by Jean Robertson
(Kingsport, TN 37660)

My brother and sister-in-law lost their beloved Madonna and her son Bubba both within the last six months. After a period of grieving, they knew they needed to get a couple of kittens because home was just not home without cats. These two were left on the doorstep of a veterinary clinic in Mt. Carmel, TN. My sister-in-law saw their picture on Petfinders.com and traveled over 30 miles to meet them and adopt them. They are now solidly part of the family and non-stop sources of delight.

Bea is the white one, Shasta the grey. Also, here are pictures of Madonna and Bubba.

Stinkers
by: Mom and Dad (of Shasta and Bea)

Shasta is a Stinker and Bea is a Silly Goon!

FYI Bea and Shasta are full sisters. Bea has a gray streak between her ears you can't see in these pictures but I will try and send more to Sis to post here where you can see that. They just got their stitches out from Spaying last Friday so the new pictures may look odd because they have not grown their little fat belly hair back yet. These two eat hardy, play ROUGH, and love to get some love when you get up in the mornings. They are perfect little kitties. Beyond their puppy destructivness that is! LOL

Gorgeous Cats!
by: Claudia - Admin

Hi Jean,

Shasta and Beatrice are so cute. I especially love Beatrice sitting amongst the cans! And Shasta's coat is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing their poignant story and pictures.

I'm sorry about your family's loss.

P.S. I didn't get the other pics but you can see them on the next post (titled "Bubba, Madonna and Bea and Shasta").
