Lola

Gandalf Lola Charlie and Lola

I just got my new apartment, moved out of my parents house for the first time, and of course I brought my cat Charlie whom I raised since his mother died when he was a month old. I worked a lot and Charlie was home by himself all the time and I felt bad for him. So a month after I moved in, I decided I was gonna get him a girlfriend and it was to be a girl and her name was already planned ahead, beside Charlie and Lola had a ring to it. (later found out it was also a t.v. show).

So I went to the humane society with a friend of mine and we saw this GORGEOUS White Cat. I am a huge fan of white cats, (after 10 years of living on the farm, one of my cats gave birth to a white kitten with blue Siamese eyes, none of the cats on the farm are Siamese except before we moved to the farm there were Siamese. As the kitten got older, he turned into a roasted marshmallow color lol).

This cat Jello (humane society name) was completely white except for the two butterfly gray spots on her head (which both disappeared over the past year so now shes solid white) and lime green eyes. I loved her at first site, so I adopted her. A week later I was able to bring her home. something amazing happened, I put Lola on the floor after we came in and the first thing that happened was Charlie and Lola started to play with each other instantly. They acted like they were soul mates. Lola treats me like Im her mother-in-law, so she will ignore me but socialize with strangers (even dogs). She sheds like crazy and she does her little purr-bark, and shoots across the room like crazy. Charlie and Lola have been inseparable ever since I brought her home and I don't plan on separating either one of them ever.

Charlie and Lola: What a Pair!
by: Anonymous

Briana, I really enjoyed your story! Lola reminds me of my white cat Star: she also loves to greet any visitors. She comes running from wherever she is, tail raised in greeting and promptly gets petted by whoever has arrived -- she is irresistible. Sounds like Lola was irresistible to Charlie too. Great story!

Hi Briana,

Thank you for sharing Lola's story (and pictures). I think she's so lovely. And she certainly seems to enjoy Charlie's company (love the picture of the two of them together). I had to smile when I read that she treats you like her mother-in-law. By the way, I love her name.

I also like the picture of Gandalf. Is he also one of your cats? He is very handsome.
