I was at an acreage in the summer of 2009 visiting a friend. Her cat, among 3 other female cats all each had a litter of kittens. In total, the farm was full of about 30 kittens! I chased and searched through every barn, field and pieces of farm equipment to find "my" kitty that I was going to adopt, but i couldnt find anyone that "was right" for me.
The kitties were very wild and in NO MEANS wanting any part of a human touching them. Just when I was going to give up...under the hood of a rusted out old ford truck was these little eyes peeking at me...at first I thought it was a skunk LOL...i went closer, the kitty moved towards me too. I creeped up, coaxing her to come out of the shadows and she walked up to me, let me hold her and crawled into my neck under my long hair...there she stayed even on the 6 hour drive home. She was... "my" kitty <3
Now, she is a crazy hilarious farm cat...she doesnt like to be pet, she fetches, chases people, LOVES to eat my makeup. She is a talker and when she wants a rub..SHE will allow it hahahaa...she is always getting into trouble but her personality is a reflection of me i suppose. :)
